Below are tables and inventory information
summaries for current and previous FIA surveys and analytical
reports. Tables are provided for each report year and can be
downloaded as a pdf file (requires Adobe reader) or as Excel
spreadsheets. Currently, the tables differ among report years.
Beginning with the 2008 report year, a standard set (1-35) will
be produced to assist in trend analysis. Definitions for terms
used in the reports and tables are provided in the SRS-FIA Standard
Glossary. Electronic copies of the reports are available at www.srs.fs.fed.us/pubs/ or
hardcopies can be obtained by phoning SRS Science Delivery Group
(828-257-4830) or sending an email to pubrequest@fs.fed.us.
Each year 20 percent of all FIA plots
are measured in Texas. Spatially distributed across the state,
the most recent plots collected are added to the previous four
years of plots to represent a full compliment of data averaged
over five years. The moving average allows some assessment of
the small change occurring annually.
